Can I increase the speed of IDMSPDF while reducing the size of the output? |
Have your IT manager perform each of the following steps on each computer using IDMSPDF:
1) Download and Re-install the latest version of Ghostscript from
https://www.idmsinc.com/download/gs919w32.exe
2) Delete the following folder (if it exists):
32-Bit Systems:
C:\Program Files\GPLGS
64-Bit Systems:
C:\Program Files (x86)\GPLGS
3) Browse to the following folder:
32-Bit Systems:
C:\Program Files\Account Ability PDF Writer
64-Bit Systems:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Account Ability PDF Writer
Using Notepad, open the file
PDFWrite.rsp
Change
-dPDFSETTINGS=/prepress
to
-dPDFSETTINGS=/printer
4) Browse to the following folder:
32-Bit Systems:
C:\Program Files\Account Ability\IDMSPDF
64-Bit Systems:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Account Ability\IDMSPDF
Using Notepad, open the file
PDFWrite.rsp
Change
-dPDFSETTINGS=/prepress
to
-dPDFSETTINGS=/printer
5) Open the "Devices and Printers" folder and right click on IDMSPDF.
6) Select "Printer Properties" from the menu.
7) Open the tab "Device Settings".
8) Change the "Available PostScript Memory" to 32767 and click "Apply".
9) Change the "Output Protocol" to Binary and click "Apply".
Shutdown and restart your computer. |
