Sirs:
I use the Account Ability program to file 1099-INTs for my small bank.
I began using your software last year. We also use QuickBooks and various
other software packages at the bank.
Your company provides the best customer support I have ever encountered.
The personnel are friendly, intelligent and helpful. Their patience rivals
that of Job. I have had occasion to call in twice each year with problems
which have arisen as a result of strangeness in my database program. This
is a Microsoft Access program which provides the data for your software.
Your support people have always taken the time to walk me through the
difficulties and help me isolate the issues. They give me enough to enable
the Access developer to solve the problem.
In addition, this year, I filed electronically for the first time. Your
staff spent almost 30 minutes helping me navigate the IRS Fire system
and making sure I got the forms filed. I had considerable difficulty logging
on, and the people who helped me at IDMS were never condescending, or
rude. It was a pleasure to deal with a real live person who knew what
he was doing. We both have Ph.D. degrees in math and it was nice to chat
while we waited for the upload to complete. What a pleasant person.
In sum, I feel I am taking unfair advantage of IDMS. I simply don't pay
enough for the wonderful service you provide. Your software is excellent
and your technical support is among the best I have ever encountered.
Given that Intuit charges me for the mere privilege of asking them why
their software has an internal error, I am eternally grateful to have
found a company that provides support at no charge. I am not encouraging
you to impose additional charges, but I felt you deserved praise for delivering
a top quality product with effective backup at a most reasonable price.
Please feel free to publish this if you wish. I hope people know it is
a bona fide letter.

I cannot
begin to tell you how pleased I was with your 1099 program last year.
I tried many other programs and yours was the only one that could print
1099 forms on my Deskjet printer without losing a single piece of information.

Our firm
has over 300 clients who rely heavily upon us for 1099 and 1098 preparation
each year. In the past we used another software product that would cost
over $500 each year to update. Am I glad I found you on the web. Not only
did we get our job done in a fraction of the time we used to spend but
we managed to save an addition $400 in software expense. One of your employees
named Jeff helped us with converting and importing all of our information
from the other software's database. I have to compliment him and IDMS
for the professional way in which the job was done.
My partners and I would like to thank IDMS and Jeff for facilitating what

Hello...
...and thank you for your very quick responses to our calls and questions.
We operate a small contractor-based company and have been searching for
software that will accommodate our year-end tax needs. After many dead-end
searches and a software purchase from a local retailer, we believe that
we have found a company that offers a good product and the support that
a small company like ours requires. We do not have an IT department that
can troubleshoot and solve our problems for us. We do not want to depend
on an outside source for our accounting needs, which is what 90% of the
software programs for 1099's require. We operate this company on a daily
basis and prefer to have the responsibility rest on us, instead of a "payroll
service". We are in the process of downloading the 1999 version of Account
Ability to do a "dry run" so to speak, as per your suggestion. From all
of the communications to date with your company, we feel very confident
already that we have found the answer to our needs. The testimonials we
have read and the information that is on your website, which by the way,
has been backed up identically by your representatives on the phone, has

Common Cents processes Form 1099-MISC, -DIV, and -INT for our clients.
We had used the same program since 1992. This year their program would
not let us enter data for more than 90 recipients, and we started looking
for alternative programs.
Luckily, we found Account Ability!!
I want to take the opportunity to thank IDMS for the superb response to
my questions prior to purchase, as well as the wonderful support I received
in getting Account Ability set up for 2000 from Jeff.
He even helped me apply for a Transmitter ID so I can submit forms magnetically
to the IRS this year.

Just a
note to let you know your 1099 software was a pleasure to use. I waited
until the last minute this year (1999) and was determined not to spend
hours adjusting forms on a dot matrix printer. For the first time this
year, our 1099 forms were done by the end of the business day and I was
not in the office until 9:00 pm.
I searched for 1099 software on the web, found 4 products that appeared
to be what we needed, and downloaded demos of them all. Your product appeared
to be the most straightforward so we purchased it from your web site.
The product worked exactly as advertised. The import function made data
entry trivial. Because the software is well designed, operation was intuitive
and there was no need to consult help for anything.
I rarely have the opportunity to make comments like this, but, at less
than $100, your software represents such a good value that I felt it was
the right thing to do.

Dear IDMS:
First of all, I would like to thank you on behalf of Mar-Jac Poultry,
Inc. for your excellent Account Ability product. It is very user friendly,
powerful, feature filled, and it costs fractions of other comparable products
and/or services. Your mapping utility is also a tremendous tool allowing
easy drag and drop mapping: you really did an A-1 job on it and you made
our annual W2 and 1099 reporting much easier.
We here at Mar-Jac Poultry used to do our W-2’s and 1099’s in house using
a line/dot matrix printer respectively up until CY 1999. You can imagine
the types of problems we had with the processed volume (1,877 W-2’s and
208 1099’s for CY 2000) like paper jams, ribbon jams, unclear prints,
manually resending printouts ... etc. Ever since we started using Account
Ability last year (CY 2000), the only issue we have to deal with now is
importing our data into an ASCII file and mapping it to Account Ability
using your free A-1 mapping utility.

Just wanted
you to know how pleased I was with your product, and that I spread the
word to our user support group with the following email:
The City of Frederick, MD found a company in NY called IDMS for printing
W-2s and other tax forms. They have a software product called Account
Ability. This software prints all tax forms for any type of printer. We
will be purchasing blank 4-up W-2s this year because the software prints
the actual form when merging the data. The customer service team was very
knowledgeable of the AS400 system and gave hands on instructions and helped
me map our file to the program. I was very impressed and extremely pleased
with the quality of the W-2 output. Not to mention the time they have
saved me in trying to merge and line up the data myself. I would highly
recommend this product.

First
let me say how much easier our end-of-year process has been since we started
using Account Ability. This is our second year, and your software has
received high marks from both our Payroll and Receipts & Disbursements
departments as they can now see and update W-2 and 1099-MISC information
directly without needing me to run reports. Plus I'm thrilled I no longer
need to make coding changes whenever the IRS modifies the forms as I had
to previously when we issued these statements on preprinted multi-part
stock. Thank you so much for such a fine product at such a reasonable
cost!

I would
like to take this time to commend your organization on a great product
at a resonable price. I was stuck between a rock and a hard spot the
last 2 weeks of February when I realized my software (Peachtree) doesn't
support electronic filing of 1099s or W2s. I guess I knew this from
last year but chose to ignore it.
I spoke to your order desk on a Friday afternoon and was using your
software, with support, by 5:00pm Friday evening. Special thanks to

only do this once a year, I never seem to remember from year to year
